Take a break from the beach and escape into Noosa National Park, just a short drive from Ivory Palms Noosa family accommodation.

The park encompasses 4000 hectares of unspoiled coastline, rugged wallum heath land and lush green rainforest and is home to some of our most vulnerable species of plant and animal life, including the glossy black cockatoo, red goshawk, the swamp orchid and the koala. If your holiday coincides with whale watching season, (June to November each year) make your way to Hells Gates or     Dolphin Point for spectacular views of the migrating mammals on their way to and from their breeding grounds in the north, and keep an eye out for dolphins and turtles too!

There are a selection of walking tracks to explore, catering for all fitness and experience levels. Enjoy an invigorating stroll along one of the easy to moderate tracks that wind along the coast or set out on a longer hike across the heath, where colourful and rare wildflowers grow in winter and spring.
