The Big Pineapple
The Big Pineapple is 16 metre high and was originally opened on the 15 of August 1971. It is situated on a 165 hectare site on the way to Noosa from Brisbane off the Bruce Hwy.
The Big Pineapple Market is one of the biggest all weather markets on the Sunshine Coast. The lively atmosphere of this iconic tourist attraction has endeared the market to locals for only 2 years; however it continues to grow every week with more and more people wanting to build their businesses by promoting themselves at The Big Pineapple.
The Market also offers the original cane train which gives mum time for a coffee and the kids a ride on the train. A photo opportunity is available on the observation deck on top of the pineapple where hundreds of people take photos of their time at the Big Pineapple every year.
