Noosa Family Resort

Ivory Palms Resort is an inspired Noosa family resort option for families and couples wishing to stay a comfortable distance from the busy hum of Noosa Heads. Our delightful family friendly resort is located on the western reaches of Noosaville, not far from Tewantin.

Noosa Family Accommodation

Here at Ivory Palms Resort you can relax, and if you’ve got kids, they can relax too. There are three heated lagoon-style pools onsite and a dedicated games room containing old school arcade games, air hockey and a billiards table. You will love our great range of family accommodation options, perfect for the smallest to the largest of families. All are spacious and fully self contained and close to the resort facilities which all the family will love.

During peak season (any school holidays) the resort is very popular with families. We run a Kids Club to coincide with the school holidays for children aged between 5 to 10 years of age. This exciting program includes playing air-hockey in the arcade room, drawing, finger painting, movies, activities in the children’s playground and the jumping pillow. All sessions are fully supervised and includes lunch.

Sounds like part of a plan doesn’t it?

You might like to use these sessions to catch a beat before getting into the nitty gritty of the holiday. Like adventure activities on the water. There’s plenty of equipment businesses on Gympie Terrace where you can hire a kayak, paddle board or jetski. How about a BBQ pontoon for the whole family to venture up and down the waters of the Noosa River. Catch a fish or two at the river mouth and then cruise upstream to find a spot to weight anchor and cook up lunch.

On another day, fix a picnic and hop in the car. If it’s a Wednesday or Saturday, the Eumundi Markets are always good for browsing. There’s a fantastic range of clothes, arts, crafts, produce, artisan smallgoods, wellness practitioners and entertainment to be had. Bring back some of the freshest breads and veges for the table.

Australia Zoo is waiting too. A trip to Beerwah where Australia Zoo is located is about an hour away. The journey past the Glasshouse Mountains is mesmerising to the point of distraction.

This is just a few ideas of what you can do from our Noosa family resort. Make sure you book well in advance for the school holidays. It’s always a very popular time for the Ivory Palms Resort.
