The Noosa Longweekend Festival 2012 15 to 24 June
The Noosa Long weekend Festival is an annual celebration of the cream of the local cultural scene. It is set against the beautiful backdrop of Noosa’s beaches and parks over 10 fun filled days in the heart of Noosa Heads, not far from our Noosa family accommodation. The festival was founded in 2002 by a group of local art lovers and is dedicated to the very best of local and national music, literature, art, film, dance and food. It has grown a strong reputation in the last ten years and is now recognized as one of the best regional festivals in the whole of Australia.
Festival goers are treated to a diverse program of events that features both local and international talents, including film makers, artists, chefs and musicians. There are both free and ticketed events throughout the festival and there’s something for all ages.
The full program is yet to be announced, but you can expect delicious international cuisine, world class cabaret, workshops, inspiring talks from creative visionaries, alfresco suppers and non-stop live music. Keep an eye on the festival website for more details as they emerge.
